The deliverable for this project is a stakeholder research report that identifies and profiles potential allies in corporations and business associations, law enforcement agencies, and mental health institutions. We would also like a prioritized target list with recommended engagement approaches and next steps. Details will be provided during volunteer interviews.
This research will help EQuip Our Kids! identify partners who can amplify advocacy, resources, and policies for Social and Emotional Learning, increasing business, law enforcement, and mental-health sector support to improve student wellbeing, school climates, and long-term community outcomes.
Details will be provided during volunteer interviews. Volunteers will work with staff to define scope, review existing background materials, and refine the priority list so recommendations are actionable and ready for the team to implement.

Organization Mission

EQuip Our Kids! is a national advocacy and strategic development nonprofit campaign whose mission is to galvanize American parents and the general public (including key elements such as businesses) to support in every school's daily curriculum education for students and staff in emotional management and in relationship and co-creativity social skills – to the demonstrated and evidence-based profound benefit of children, teens, adults, the schools themselves, and society and business (the economy) as a whole. In education circles, this is best known as Social and Emotional Learning. The upsides? Mentally, emotionally and physically heathier students, better grades, mindsets and skills to succeed in life and greatly decrease much of human suffering. Most human pain and conflict derives from a lack of these skills not a lack of character.
