We need support optimizing our WordPress website to onboard and engage volunteers more effectively. This includes refining our Get Involved and regional pages, embedding Microsoft Forms, and coordinating the flow of form data into Dataverse as part of our Microsoft for Nonprofits transition. This role is limited to individuals who are currently living in the United States and are able to complete a US based background check through our third party provider.

The volunteer will help:
Evaluate current site, hosting, propose security and efficiency improvements
- Embed Microsoft Forms and style them using Thrive tools
- Adjust menu structure and page flow to improve navigation and engagement
- Collaborate with Communications and Fundraising leadership on content alignment
- Document the embedding process for future volunteers or staff
- Recommend light tracking for form completions or page visits
We expect to meet weekly on Teams for 30 minutes and estimate a time commitment of 3–5 hours/week over 5 weeks.
Helping Mississippians find and join opportunities to donate funds or serve others and bring lifesaving CPR and emergency readiness skills to their communities. This project will directly support our goals of expanding access to training by making our digital front door clear, simple, and effective—especially for rural residents, family caregivers, and small community organizations.
We’ve begun the startup phase, published and maintained the initial site, and secured leadership buy-in around this phase. A Systems Lead volunteer will soon standup our Microsoft for Nonprofits environment and MS Forms will require optimal integration in WP pages. Leadership in Communications and Fundraising will provide input on content and structure, such as PayPal Giving Fund portal elements. We’re using Microsoft Teams for collaboration and will provide access to website credentials, relevant documentation, and prior materials.
