Social Media Content Management

We're looking for a volunteer develop policies and procedures around podcast and social media content, developing oversight and compliance . We are an organization that bridges the gap between two schools of thought as it relates to Lyme Disease - the gap between current scientific evidence vs. patient experience and holistic approaches to care. The content can be polorizing and we need to develop a process to ensure that content is neutral but supportive and educational. Specifically, you'll help create a template for a one-month social/podcast posting calendar that we can leverage to make managing review and approval of content going out on our multiple social media channels.

You're a great fit for us if you're passionate about our mission, you have a background in managing professional social media accounts and podcast programs, and you can spend ten hours over one to three weeks on this project.

Our Mission: Cure Lyme and other tick-borne diseases through innovative research, awareness and empowering the patient voice.

We need to bridge the gap between innovative research and the patients voice - educating patients on cutting edge research for new drugs and treatments and at the same time giving support to our patient community through an often times lonely and painful experience. Our social media and podcasts are a lifeline for many of our patients and we need to make sure the information and education provided is always supported by science and experience, with proper controls in place to keep our standard of excellence.

To prepare for the project, we will provide you with our events calendar and other relevant social media handles of organizations that are pillars in our sector. You'll have access to a file of photos and logos and a list of our hashtags. You will have access to our Podcast program and SOPs to review and modify as needed.
