Project Overview
Our board has conducted a brainstorming session and we created an initial draft of a business/strategic plan for the organization that would help guide its decisions and strategies for the next three years. We need assistance from someone with experience writing strategic/business plans for not-for-profits to help us complete this project. Forsyth Community Clinic is a new not-for-profit meeting a healthcare need in the Forsyth County, in Georgia. The clinic has been operating for a year and a half, it is the only of its kind in the region and has been gaining much traction from the audience it is built to serve.
The board members and the only staff executive director are always juggling making decisions as well as keep operations and services going. We believe having a business/strategic plan will help as a compass and guide decisions, supporting goals and activities.
We have spent several hours putting together a draft including conducting a board retreat to discuss the current state of the clinic and the future opportunities to continue its operations and serving the community. This will be a living document accessible to the clinic staff and board members, to be used as a reference when new topics and considerations are being made for the clinic and how it is serving its patients.
